Malaysia’s Peter Davis Battles Costa Rica’s Ariel Sexton Tomorrow At MIMMA Grand Finals

Malaysian MMA icon Peter Davis will face his toughest opponent to date when he lock horns with Costa Rica’s pride, Ariel “Tarzan” Sexton for the main event of the Malaysian Invasion Mixed Martial Arts (MIMMA) Season 1 Grand Finals at the Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Davis is riding a 5-fight wining streak including his 2 TKO wins and 1 submission victory inside the One FC cage. He has been recognized as the best Malaysian MMA fighter today.

Davis is a very skilled fighter both striking and in grappling department. He is working his tail off for the past years to become a more dangerous and complete MMA fighter inside the cage. He is also considered as the most marketable MMA fighter in Malaysia because aside from being such a skilled fighter, he also has the looks to attract thousands or even millions of followers around the world.

Davis skills will be put to test tomorrow night, June 15, when he face a submission specialist from Costa Rica, Ariel “Tarzan” Sexton, a guy who has been competing around the world for almost 8 years and a very accomplished BJJ practitioner as well. “Tarzan” is no doubt, the toughest opponent of Davis by far and the Costa Rican looks to disappoint thousands of Malaysian fight fans by beating their hometown hero in front of them.

MIMMA Grand Finals will also feature a bantamweight match up between one of the most feared striker in the region, Saiful “The Vampire” Merican and Aditya Deshpande.

Also, Edward Kelly, the younger brother of Eric Kelly, will make the biggest fight of his young MMA career as he takes on Thailand’s Tanaphong Kunhankaew.

Of course, seven MIMMA championship bouts are set tomorrow night in KL, Malaysia as top amateur fighters around Malaysia will battle it out prove they are the toughest up and coming fighters in their country and possibly earn a One FC contract.
