Legend Fighting Championship 11 will feature three world-class MMA championships including an explosive and the much anticipated bantamweight championship match-up between two of the most decorated fighters in Asia today as Filipino striking specialist Agustin Delarmino Jr (6-2). takes on a submission artist in Ji Xian (10-2) on Saturday, April 27, in Chin Woo Stadium, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Agustin “Demolisher” Delarmino possesses great timing, excellent cardio and very heavy punches. Agustin is arguably the most powerful bantamweight in Legend FC roster today as he is capable of sending his opponent to dreamland in a single blow.
Just like other Filipino fighters, Agustin’s ground game is his weakness. His last fight shows Delarmino’s lack of knowledge in the grappling department played a big role in his submission loss against Yao Honggang. But with the help of their wrestling coach at Full Contact International by Team USA, who is the former coach of the Iranian national wrestling team, expect a more deadly Agustin Delarmino tomorrow night against Ji Xian as he looks to make history as the first-ever Filipino Legend FC champion.
Defeating the super talented fighter in Xian would be a tough task for the Filipino fighter, but his never-say-die attitude and his power could be his biggest advantage over the surging Chinese fighter.
Legend FC 11 will be headlined by a lightweight championship fight between Koji “The Commander” Ando and the champion, Jadamba Narantungalag.
Also, another championship fight is set for LFC 11 as China Top Team’s Li Jiangliang looks to finally wear the belt he failed to get when he fought the former champ Bae Myung Ho at LFC 7 last year as he takes on well-rounded Kiwi fighter in Luke Jumeau for the LFC welterweight belt.
With Legend Fighting Championship broadcast by AXN in Malaysia and the rest of Southeast Asia, and sydicated across a total of 152 countries via 22 broadcast partners, a global MMA audience of over 279 million homes will have their eyes on Malaysia at the end of April.
Home-grown fighters, Muhammad Hanif bin Zainal and Sam Chan – both seasoned Legend 11 fighters, will look to make the country proud in their respective weight classes.
Another talented Filipino fighter will make his return inside the Legend FC ring on April 27th as world-class striker, Jazor “The Razor” Ablasi takes on Team M.A.D’s own, Jo Nam Jin.
