World Class Flyweight Striker Rambaa “M16” Somdet Signs With PXC

PXC adds another highly-talented veteran fighter in their ultra-talented flyweight division by signing former Shooto flyweight champion, “M16” Rambaa Somdet (10-2).

Somdet is known for his striking prowess and never-ending cardio. The 38-year-old fighter from Thailand has not lost since 2007 and looks to keep his win streak alive inside the PXC cage. He loves to utilize his Muay Thai strikes especially those cannibalistic leg kicks and his explosive hands. No one has been able to knock this guy out or submit him since he started his MMA career. This guy is scary because of his stand up skills and his iron chin.

Somdet has some notable career wins over UFC fighter, Ulysses Gomez, Ryota Uozumi and Noboru Tahara.

According to PXC officials, Somdet will make his promotional debut on July in Guam in PXC 38 against an as-of-yet unnamed opponent.

According to PXC Promoter & CEO, E.J. Calvo, “We are happy to welcome Rambaa to PXC. Our Flyweight Division is full of young talent, and a veteran like Rambaa will raise the bar of competition to the highest in the region at that weight class.”

With his signing in one of Asia’s biggest MMA promotion, Somdet is no doubt, a huge threat to Ale Cali’s title and a big roadblock to any fighters in his division who aspire to get closer to the title picture.

Somdet gives his thoughts on signing with the Guam-based MMA promotion, “I’m very excited to find my new home in PXC and looking forward to my debut. I would like to win the PXC title and hopefully go to the UFC as some of the PXC veterans have done so. Thank you!” Somdet also added, “See you in Guam in July!”
