Another exciting match-up has been added to DREAM /GLORY’s co-promoted year-end event as former UFC featherweight fighter Michihiro “Michi” Omigawa (13-12-1) will go up against Tatsuya “Crusher” Kawajiri (31-7-2).
The bout will be added to the DREAM.18 portion of the night’s card, which already includes the likes of Shinya Aoki vs. Antonio McKee , Melvin Manhoef vs. Denis Kang , Bibiano Fernandes vs. Yoshiro Maeda , and Hayato ‘Mach’ Sakurai vs. Phil Baroni .
Omigawa’s UFC career has been a nightmare for him and his fans. He went 1-4 inside the octagon and seemed like he lost his focus and intensity while being signed by the biggest promotion in the world. The 36-year-old Omigawa will try to end his two-fight losing skid when he takes on a very dangerous fighter in Kawajiri.
Kawajiri, on the other hand, is on a four-fight winning streak, crushing all of his opponent in an impressive fashion. Kawajiri comes to this fight with lots of confidence behind him and looks to stay add Omigawa to his list of victims on December 31 at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.
