UFC on Fuel TV 6 fight card is all set including John Tuck vs. Zhang Tiequan

According to Li Lee of MMA-In-Asia.Com, UFC just announced that Lightweight Phenom from Guam, Jon “Super Saiyan” Tuck will go up against China’s Zhang Tie Quan for UFC on Fuel TV 6 in Macau.

Tuck is an undefeated fighter who has a very dangerous BJJ skills in his arsenal. He has a notable wins over Filipino MMA superstar Eduard Folayang and Tristan Arenal. Tuck made it to TUF 15 but lost his first fight against one of the season 15’s finalists, Al Iaquinta due to a toe injury.

Tuck was scheduled to face Harris Sarmiento last Saturday, September 1, 2012 for PXC 33 main event but “Super Saiyan” sustained another injury that forced him to withdraw on the said event. We had a quick chat about Tuck during PXC 33 weigh-ins and he said that nothing is serious about his knee injury, he is jus waiting for the MRI results to come out later this week. But I guess with the UFC announcing him to face a very dangerous Chinese fighter on November, I think the doctors cleared Tuck to fight on November.

Zhang Tiegquan is known for his nasty guillotine chokes that can put people to sleep. “The Mongolian Wolf” is capable of submitting or knocking someone out in any moment of a fight. Zhang has not been very successful inside the UFC cage as his record went 1-2 (win-loss) inside the biggest MMA promotion in the world.

Here’s the confirmation:
