Mark Striegl to face Marko Huusansaari at DARE 2/12 on March 17

After his successful outing last February 11 at Legend 7, Filipino-American mma fighter Mark “Mugen” Striegl looks to stay unbeaten against a bigger opponent in Marko “Mad Dog” Huusansaari at Dare II on March 17, 2012 in Bangkok, Thailand. Mugen versus Mad Dog is slated at 72kg (158lbs), almost 15 lbs. heavier than Striegl’s weight class, which is at 145 lbs.

Mad Dog is known for his very dangerous ground game and he is currently in Thailand working real hard to enhance his striking game, so it will be a tough test for the very promising featherweight Filipino fighter.

Mark Striegl literally puts his training into a higher level by changing his camp from Japan to the mountainous City of Baguio, Philippines for the improvement of his overall game.

Baguio City is hotbed for fight sport in the Philippines and a “go to” place for some fighters who want to improve their physical strength and cardio due to its cold climate and high altitude mountains. Filipino boxing icons Manny Pacquiao, Bernabe Concepcion and Rodel Mayol are just some of those fighters who loves to train in the said city.

Both fighters are admirers of tapping their opponents out, that’s why this fight between Striegl and Huusansaari is assuredly going to be quick.

DARE II partial fight card:

Krysztof “Haja” Hajtalowicz Vs. Arnaud “The Game” Lepont

Mark “Mugen” Striegl Vs. Marko “Mad Dog”  Huusansaari
