Rumored bout: Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio Vs. Alex Silva for One FC 2?

Geje "Gravity" Eustaquio Vs. Alex Silva

Flyweights are coming to ONE FC. There are speculations that the next One FC show in Jakarta, Indonesia will feature a flyweight match up between Evolve MMA’s Alex Silva and Team Lakay’s Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio.

I spoke Team Lakay’s Head Coach, Mark Sangiao for the affirmation of this bout and he said that the One FC boss, Victor Cui has not confirmed anything to them.

Let’s take a look at both fighters profile:

A member of the Evolve Fight Team, Alex Silva is a Copa do Mundo BJJ World Champion. Alex is an elite, world-class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt with excellent results in the Mundials World Championship, the Brazilian Nationals, and many other national and regional competitions in Brazil. He has deep experience in BJJ, training 5-6 hours per day almost every day for the last 14 years straight. His favorite techniques are the armbar and the choke. Alex has been training very hard on his striking with all the Muay Thai World Champions at Evolve MMA.

Coming off with an impressive win in his pro mma debut in DARE Fighting Championship two months ago by defeating his opponent via rear-naked choke in the very first round, Alex Silva will try to maintain his excellent start in his mma career and extend his unbeaten record to 2-0 against a tough Filipino kid from Team Lakay, Geje Eustaquio.

Record: 2-1-0 (win-lose-draw)

Association: Team Lakay

Height: 5″5′ (166 cm)

Weight: 112 lbs. (51 kg)

Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio (2-1-0)  is a Wushu Sanshou fighter with a good take down defense and a ground game as well. He is from the top mma team in the Philippines, Team Lakay.

The 21 year-old Eustaquio fell short in his recent outing in PXC 28 against Korean Top Team’s David Cho and tasted his first pro mma loss via controversial split decision. His next mission is to bounce back from that loss and prove that he belongs to the top flyweights in Asia.

These are just some of the fighters who will be in action at the Kelapa Gading Sports Mall on February 11th:

Ole Laursen

Igor Gracie

Yodsanan Sityodtong

Kevin “Silencer” Belingon

Yuya Shirai

Youne “Indra” Victorio Senduk

Gustavo Falciroli
