As expected, the two bets from Baguio City outclassed their respective finals counterparts to produce two gold medals for the wushu squad.

Cousins Eduard Folayang and Mark Eddiva grabbed the gold medals in Wushu Sanshou after beating their opponents in the 26th South East Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia.

‎Eduard "Landslide" Folayang mobbed by sportswriters after he clinched his 3rd SEAGAMES gold medal.

Eduard Folayang dismantled his opponent from Loas to obtain the gold medal in the men’s 70kg Wushu Sanshou catergory. His Teammate, Mark Eddiva also bagged the gold medal after beating his Indonesian opponent.

Eddiva dropped his counterpart seven times and shoved him out of the sparring stage twice before ending their two-round match.

The gold medal is a perfect birthday gift for Eduard as he is celebrating his 27th Birthday tomorrow (November 22).
