On October 30, Jadamba Narantungalag will be fighting in his first title match ever when he faces Adrian Pang in Legend FC 6. The Mongolian, who also has pro kickboxing experience, has fought for different organizations such as Sengoku, K-1 and Art of War.
Jadamba’s beginning in professional MMA was a bumpy one. He lost by knockout in his professional debut and lost a decision in his succeeding fight. But since then, he has garnered a 6-fight win streak with 4 finishes. His biggest win to date was against Akihiro Gono, when he won by decision against the highly favored UFC and Pride veteran last year.
With 8-fights under his belt, Jadamba is aware that title fights don’t come easy, especially when you’re just debuting for an organization like Legend FC. “It is very honorable for me to fight directly for the title.” Jadamba said. “I thank Legend for their giving me a big chance. I want to reply to Legend by the fight.”
When asked about the champion, Adrian Pang, Jadamba only had praises to say about his opponent. “Adrian Pang is experienced, really good fighter, so I think our fight will be heavy and amazing.” Jadamba said. “He is [a] very strong opponent. Generally I will go forward and strike him. I think our styles will match.”
The now 35-year-old fighter promises that he will show something new when the bell rings next month.
“My training is good. I am doing new training and I will show you the result on the show. “
Even with his confidence in his ability, Jadamba isn’t looking past the champion. When asked about his plans if ever he wins the title, the challenger had simple words to say, “I can not think anything other than Adrian Pang. For now.”
With both fighters focused on their upcoming match, the Legend FC 6 main event seems to be something to look forward to.
